Biography

Koh See Wee joins Breakthrough Energy’s Innovator Fellows program from Entropy Lab in Singapore. At Entropy Lab, Dr. Koh spearheads the commercialization and development of their flagship product PasteCool®, a nano-engineered cooling paint designed to combat urban heat and reduce energy consumption. His leadership bridges deep technical R&D with strategic market positioning, ensuring the product meets global standards and resonates with diverse stakeholders from architects and urban planners to investors and public sector leaders.

Koh See Wee received a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD from the Nanyang Technological University Singapore. He then went spent time in program management and business development before leaving to start Entropy Lab.

In his free time, See Wee enjoys exploring Singapore coffee shops and searching for the city’s best cappuccino.

01 What's the best piece of advice you've been given?

The best advice given to me was “try first then say”. It inspires me to take up challenge head-on and try my hands on new things. Practically, it became the way I approach solutions.

02 What beliefs drive you?

Aim for the stars, at least if you fail, you will land on the moon or at most back on earth.
